For more information on how to request accommodated testing with the CTC, please visit the How to Reserve Space in the Campus Testing Center.Students must reserve their seats with the CTC at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to the scheduled test date.Scheduled tests must be submitted by the instructors at least 5-business days (1 week) prior to the test date for students to test with the Campus Testing Center (CTC).More information on how to use RegisterBlast is available on the CTC website. Students and Instructors will begin use RegisterBlast, to book accommodated tests in the CTC. Reserving testing space in the Campus Testing Center & ATEC Lab Location: Student Services Building (SSB) 4 th floor, room 4.206 Students testing with adaptive equipment will be taking their tests in the Assistive and Technology Education Center located in the D&A office (SSB 4.206). Testing Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Fridayĭ&A ATEC Lab: For Tests with Adaptive Equipment Location: George L Sanchez Building (SZB) 5th floor, suite 5.102 Starting fall 2021 Testing & Evaluation Services is collaborating with Disability and Access (D&A) to pilot a centralized Campus Testing Center (CTC) for in-person accommodated tests. Test Locations: Campus Testing Center & D&A ATEC Lab If the instructor refuses to provide an approved accommodation, contact D&A immediately.If a testing accommodation is not in place as was previously agreed upon by you and the instructor, notify the proctor immediately.Instructors and students must reserve this space in advance. Testing Space with D&A: The testing space within D&A is primarily reserved for students who need to use the technology within the Assistive Technology Education Center.Instructors can inquire about the resources available through their department. Departmental testing spaces: Some colleges, schools and departments within UT have their own designated testing space for students using accommodations.Inappropriate locations include a hallway, stairwell, a shared office or busy space (e.g. conference room), TA’s office, and instructor’s office. Examples of a reduced distraction environment include a separate classroom (with several other students also testing and a proctor), a quiet space (e.g. Instructors proctoring tests: Instructors can choose to provide testing accommodations directly to students or have their TAs assist with proctoring.Instructors and students will need to reserve space in advance in order to use the Campus Testing Center. Campus Testing Center: Campus Testing Center is available to provide testing accommodations for students with accommodations.Options for Accommodated Testing Spaces at UT: Regardless of how testing accommodations will be provided, Students should remind instructors about testing accommodations at least five days before the test.

If there is any concern by either party about the arrangements or accommodations, contact the student’s Coordinator for guidance.
